Build the UK CBAM record before reporting pressure arrives.

QuotaScope is developing a connected readiness module for import scope, registration thresholds, supplier evidence and reporting records ahead of UK CBAM starting on 1 January 2027.

Not yet available

The CBAM pages in QuotaScope are roadmap features. Quota intelligence and shipment duty scenarios are the available product today.

1 January 2027

UK CBAM begins

Readiness first

Scope, thresholds, records and evidence

Calculations follow

As official inputs and product modules become available

Planned product roadmap

A controlled record from scope check to reporting period.

The roadmap is deliberately staged: establish complete import and evidence records first, then calculate liability when the official inputs and calculation module are ready.

Planned

01

Scope and registration readiness

Check goods against versioned UK CBAM scope rules and monitor the qualifying value used by the forward and backward registration tests.

Planned

02

Structured import ledger

Maintain one controlled record per consignment, with manual entry and staged CSV import for review before records are committed.

Planned

03

Suppliers and installations

Connect products to suppliers, manufacturing installations, data periods and review dates instead of keeping evidence across disconnected folders.

Planned

04

Emissions and evidence

Record actual or default-emissions paths, verification status and supporting evidence with visible completeness gaps.

Planned

05

Versioned liability calculations

Apply official rates and eligible Carbon Price Relief when the necessary inputs are published and the calculation module is released.

Planned

06

Reporting-period records

Prepare reconciled, return-ready exports and an evidence trail. QuotaScope will not submit the return directly to HMRC.

Why prepare

The reporting record starts with the import, not the final calculation.

A useful CBAM workflow needs controlled commodity scope, tax-point dates, values, weights, suppliers, installations and emissions evidence. Collecting those fields consistently is a separate task from applying a future rate.

01

Import

Code, origin, tax point, value and mass

02

Supply chain

Supplier and manufacturing installation

03

Emissions

Method, data period, verification and evidence

04

Reporting

Completeness, calculation version and export

Available today

Import quota intelligence

Watch published balances, forecast around expected clearance, calculate standard out-of-quota duty exposure and preserve each scenario version.

CBAM readiness and reporting

Scope checks, import records, threshold monitoring, evidence and calculations remain planned. No page on this site represents those functions as released.
